Preferential right to land purchase by lessee will be valid for one month — Solskiy

The preferential right to purchase farmland will be valid for one month from the moment the owner informs the lessee of his intention to sell the land share. This was announced by Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Mykola Solskiy, AgroPolit.com writes.

"Preferential right will be valid for one month from the moment of notification. After that, the owner may sell it to whomever he wants. Ensure this right for those who cultivated the land. Most of them have been investing in it for years," said Mykola Solsky.

As a reminder, farmland market bill No.2178-10 will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament) in February 2020.
