Sluga Narodu Party announced land market bill second reading

Farmland market bill No.2178-10 will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament) in February 2020. This was informed by Oleksandr Kornienko, Head of Sluga Narodu Party, AgroPolit.com reports.

According to the Member of Parliament, consideration of the draft law on the land market cannot be held this week because of the speech delivered by All-Ukrainian Union Batkivshchyna and Opposition platform – For life on the observance of the land memorandum.

Previously reported that legal entities, the founders or ultimate beneficiaries of which are persons who are not citizens of Ukraine, may acquire ownership of agricultural land subject to approval by referendum.
