Flour exports from Ukraine surged 50 pct

Flour export shipment from Ukraine since the start of 2019/20 has reached 207.2 thou. t, 71.8 thou. t (53%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator, 135.4 thou. t.

The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Jan.20 exports reached the following indicators:

• wheat flour — 206 thou. t (up 71.3 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
• other types of flour — 1.2 thou. t (up 0.4 thou. t).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

Previously reported that the agreements under the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the grain market participants needed no revision, commodities shipment indicators corresponded to the planned dynamics.
