Ukraine's flour trade reached 211 thou. t

Flour export from Ukraine since the beginning of 2019/20 has reached 211.4 thou. t, 74.6 thou. t (55%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator, 136.8 thou. t.

The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Jan.22 exports reached the following indicators:

• wheat flour — 210.2 thou. t (up 74.2 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
• other types of flour — 1.2 thou. t (up 0.4 thou. t).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

Previously reported that since the start of 2019/20, Ukrainian seaports have shipped 34.2 mln t of staple grains for export vs. 26.39 mln t in the prior season's comparative period. As of Jan. 22, commodities shipment increased by 7.8 mln t from the comparative period of the previous year.
