New season's flour supply 45 pct higher YoY

Since the start of 2019/20, flour export from Ukraine has reached 253.3 thou. t, 79 thou. t more from the prior year's comparative indicator, 174.3 thou. t.

The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Feb. 26 exports reached the following indicators:

• wheat flour — 251.9 thou. t (up 78.5 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
• other types of flour — 1.4 thou. t (up 0.5 thou. t).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

As reported earlier, UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO subsidiary, Vinnytsya Bread Factory No.2, dominated flour production in Ukraine in 2019 with 167.9 thou. t of output.
