UAE dominated chicken meat export from Ukraine in Jan-Feb

Chicken meat and edible co-products export shipment from Ukraine stood at 66.27 thou. t in Jan-Feb of the current year. The supply in the reporting period is valued at USD 81.9 mln.

As provided by the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the largest importers of the product in Jan-Feb are as followed:

• the U.A.E.: 13.61 thou. t, USD 16.83 mln (20.54%);
• Saudi Arabia: 8.46 thou. t, USD 10.46 mln (12.77%);
• the Netherlands: 7.79 thou. t, USD 9.6 mln (11.75%);
• others: 36.41 thou. t, USD 24.51 mln (54.94%).

As a reminder, the Iraqi competent authority lifted the restrictions on poultry meat imports from Ukraine imposed as a result of bird flu cases.
