Export of flour 18% higher YoY

Flour export shipment from Ukraine since the start of 2019/20  has reached 313.4 thou. t. As of May 29, supplies of the product increased by 47.5 thou. t or 17.9% YoY.

Provided by the data of the information-analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, flour exports by types in the reporting period reached:

• wheat flour — 311.3 thou. t (46.6 thou. t or 17.6% more from the comparative period of 2018/19);
• other types of flour — 2.1 thou. t (0.9 thou. t or 75% more).

Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

By 2025 the volume of world flour consumption may increase by about 20 mln t compared to the current level and reach apx. 400 mln t.
