Poltava region milk production highest in Ukraine in Jan-Aug, country's output climbs up

Dairy farms in Ukraine produced 1833.2 thou. t of milk in January-August 2020, the data of the State Statistics Service show.

This indicator is 0.3% higher YoY.

The highest indicators of milk production in 8M 2020 were demonstrated by five regions:

• Poltava: 265.9 thou. t
• Cherkasy: 205.3 thou. t
• Chernihiv: 164.9 thou. t
• Kharkiv: 164.7 thou. t
• Kyiv: 146 thou. t

However, in January-July 2020 milk production in Ukraine decreased by 3.9% YoY.
