Poultry meat export from Ukraine added 8% in Jan-Oct

Poultry meat and edible co-products export shipment from Ukraine stood at 359.54 thou. t in January-October 2020, 8% more YoY (10M 2019: 333.8 thou. t). The supply in the reporting period is valued at USD 468.53 mln, 2.3% lower from January-October 2019 (10M 2019: USD 479.7 mln), the State Customs Service of Ukraine data show.

Key markets for Ukrainian poultry products in the reporting period:

• Saudi Arabia: USD 107.1 mln, 82.2 thou. t, 22.85% of the total supply
• Netherlands: USD 78.8 mln, 60.5 thou. t, 16.82%
• U.A.E.: USD 46.6 mln, 35.8 thou. t, 9.95%
• others: USD 236 mln, 164.2 thou. t, 50.38%

Import to Ukraine in the reporting period totalled 90.92 thou. t for the amount of USD 38 mln.

Previously reported that the agro-industrial holding MHP was rated the second largest broiler producer in Europe.
