Egg exports in Jan-Nov dropped 21%

In the period January-November 2020, birds' eggs export shipment from Ukraine totalled 102.13 thou. t, 129 thou. t or 20.8% lower YoY.

Under the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, eggs export in monetary terms amounted to USD 92.09 mln vs. USD 104.33 mln in 11M 2019.

Key importing countries in the reporting period:

• U.A.E.: 30.93 thou. t, USD 27.9 mln (30.29% of the total supply)
• Saudi Arabia: 24.34 thou. t, USD 21.94 (23.83%)
• Latvia: 10.61 thou. t, USD 9.6 mln (10.39%)
• others: 36.23 thou. t, USD 32.7 mln (35.48%)

Previously reported that the company Ovostar Union received USD 3.76 mln of net profit for the nine months ended 30 September 2020, 44% higher YoY (9M 2019: USD 2.6 mln).
