MHP Slovenian subsidiary intensified chicken and turkey meat production by 48% in 2020

Production facilities of the MHP Slovenian subsidiary, Perutnina Ptuj (PP), produced 102,157 t of chicken and turkey meat in 12M 2020, 48% more than in 12M 2019.

MHP reports that PP's poultry sales constituted 63,219 t in Jan-Dec 2020.

Following PP strategy of poultry production growth and increasing several facilities’ capacity utilization in Serbia and Croatia, in Q4 2020 PP’s poultry production facilities produced 24,583 t of chicken and turkey meat, 3% more than in Q4 2019, while poultry sales constituted 15,165 t.

The acquisition of Perutnina Ptuj was completed by MHP in February 2019.

In 12M 2020, poultry production volumes at MHP agro-industrial holding's enterprises in Ukraine constituted 731,279 t (12M 2019: 728,917).
