Kernel plants 415 thou. ha with sunflower and corn in 2021
Kernel has started planting spring crops in the 2021 growing season, the company reports on Facebook.
Winter wheat and spring cereals remain the strategic crops for the company this season. In addition, according to Kernel's technologists, winter crops wintered well, germinated almost 100% successfully and are now in good condition.
As reported, the spring sowing campaign will include sunflower and corn sowing on 415,000 ha.
The company upgraded its machinery fleet with John Deere 410 R and Case IH Magnum 400 AFS tractors, John Deere DB 55EE and Horsch Maestro 24SX high-speed seeders.
As of April 1, spring grain and leguminous crops were sown on 310.56 thou. ha in Ukraine which makes up 4% of the planned 7.52 mln ha.
