Canadian Fairfax increased shareholding in Ovostar to 10%

Canada-based Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited exceeded the threshold of 10% of total voting rights in Ovostar Union PCL.

"Ovostar Union Public Company Limited informs that on 20 May 2021 Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited notified the company about exceeding the threshold of 10% of total voting rights in the company," the report reads.

The current Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited shareholding in Ovostar equals 623,499 shares which represents a 10.39% share in capital and votes at the General Meeting.

The company reported a 4x higher YoY net profit for 1Q 2021. EPS grew 4x.
