Chicken meat export from Ukraine in Jan-June flat YoY, revenue up by 18%

Poultry meat and edible co-products export shipment from Ukraine in the period January-June 2021 made up 217.7 thou. t, flat YoY (Jan-June 2020: 212.3 thou. t). The dollar value of chicken meat exported is USD 320 mln vs. USD 271 in Jan-June 2020, an 18% increase YoY, the State Customs Service of Ukraine data show.

The key markets for Ukrainian poultry products in the reporting period:

• Saudi Arabia: USD 97.68 mln, 30.52% of the total supply
• Netherlands: USD 53.69 mln, 16.77%
• U.A.E.: USD 15.99 mln, 4.99%
• other: USD 152.71 mln, 47.71%
