Harvest Online 2021: corn campaign started at 5.99 t/ha average yield

As of 2 September, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 44.93 mln t of new crop grain on 10.23 mln ha, 64% of the projected area. Early grain and leguminous crops yield 4.39 t/ha on average.

Under the data of the project Harvest Online 2021, new crop bulk yield:

  • wheat (winter and spring): 32.81 mln t on 7.04 mln ha (100% of the total area), using the average yield of 4.64 t/ha
  • barley (winter and spring): 10.09 mln t on 2.46 mln ha (100%), 4.1 t/ha
  • rapeseed: 2.8 mln t on 1.01 mln ha (100%), 2.79 t/ha
  • peas: 569.97 thou. t on 242.4 thou. ha (100%), 2.35 t/ha
  • sunflower: 138.8 thou. t on 78.2 thou. ha (1%), 1.76 t/ha
  • millet: 58.17 thou. t on 26.03 thou. ha (33%), 2.23 t/ha
  • sugar beet: 51.4 thou. t on 1.17 thou. ha (1%), 43.93 t/ha
  • corn: 25.82 thou. t on 4.31 thou. ha, 5.99 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 21.1 thou. t on 17.86 thou. ha (21%), 1.18 t/ha

Wheat production in Ukraine in the crop year 2021 is projected at 31.2 mln t, 26% up YoY.

Agriproducers of Khmelnytsky region reported 6.3 t/ha of the average yield of early grains, an indicator highest in Ukraine in the current crop year.
