Tekom Agro Group kicks off Ukraine's winter wheat harvest in Odesa region

Tekom Agro Group has launched its winter wheat harvest in Odesa region, the company reported.

Agrofirm “Pivdenna” was the first of the group’s four farms to begin harvesting.

“Today, Agrofirm “Pivdenna” was the first of our four enterprises to begin threshing. Seven combines — three John Deere and four Claas Lexion — started work in the first field sown with the Spadshchyna Odeska’ variety,” the statement said.

This season, Agrofirm “Pivdenna” plans to harvest 1,400 hectares of winter wheat. For the 2025 crop, three awned winter wheat varieties were sown: Spadshchyna and Perspektyva (developed by the NSC Institute of Grain Crops, NAAS), and “Pani Olya” (from the Odesa Private Breeding Institute).
