Ukraine’s main buyers of corn in October: Italy, Turkey, and South Korea — Ministry of Economy

In October 2025, the EU, Asia, and Africa remained the key export destinations for Ukrainian corn, according to the Ministry of Economy’s AgroDigest on monthly changes in Ukraine’s agri-trade.

Over half of total exports — 52.2% (491,200 t) — went to the European Union. Another 31.9% (300,400 t) was shipped to Asia, and 15.9% (149,400 t) to African countries.

Italy became the largest buyer, importing 263,100 t (28% of the total) at an average export price of $205.6/t. Turkey ranked second with 168,800 t (17.9%) at $209.8/t, followed by South Korea, which purchased 102,600 t at $206.6/t.

The top 10 destinations also included:

  • Netherlands — 82,800 t ($200.2/t)
  • Tunisia — 60,000 t ($209.2/t)
  • Libya — 58,000 t ($203.6/t)
  • Greece — 47,800 t ($218.9/t — the highest among buyers)
  • Spain — 46,400 t ($211/t)
  • Cyprus — 46,300 t ($210.4/t)
  • Egypt — 31,400 t ($204.8/t)

Average export prices for Ukrainian corn in October varied significantly by market — from $200.2/t in the Netherlands to $218.9/t in Greece.
