Ukraine completed winter rapeseed sowing on just over 1 million hectares

As of 18 November, growers in Ukraine planted 6.39 million hectares of winter crops — 97.5% of the planned area, according to data from the Ministry of Economy.

The sowing structure is as follows:

• winter wheat — 4.66 million ha
• winter barley — 582.2 thousand ha
• winter rye — 66.1 thousand ha

Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk are the regions with the largest winter grain sowings.

Winter grain sowing has already been completed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions.

In addition, agrarians have almost completed winter rapeseed sowing: 1.08 million hectares have been planted, representing 96% of the planned area.
