Kernel's terminal in Chornomorsk damaged in Russian drone attack

A terminal owned by Kernel in the port of Chornomorsk was damaged following a Russian drone attack on Odesa region overnight from June 4 to 5, according to a company statement on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The attack damaged part of the grain storage and transshipment infrastructure, resulting in grain spillage and disruption to the terminal's operations. Auxiliary warehousing facilities were also affected.

Currently, the company is working to mitigate the consequences of the attack and is assessing the scale of the damage and losses incurred. At this stage, the full impact of the incident on operational activities remains uncertain; however, the damage could negatively affect the terminal's grain transshipment capacity and disrupt its operations during the recovery period.
