Rainy weather should increase the demand for grain drying service

Weather conditions not only delay the grain harvesting campaign, but will lead to increased demand for grain drying services at elevators.

This is reported by Agritel analysts. 

It is noted that at the moment precipitation is observed all over the territory of Ukraine. Precipitation is forecast to increase next week.

"The weather may increase the demand for drying, since the capacities are already overloaded since mid-October. In addition, there may be problems with the quality of the crop, such as an increase in the acidity of sunflower or mycotoxins in corn," the report states.

Nevertheless, French experts believe that such weather conditions are favorable for the future harvest of 2018.
