russia attacks Danube ports of Ukraine with kamikaze drones

On the night of August 16, the russian army attacked Odesa region twice with kamikaze drones, the head of the Odesa Region Military Administration Oleg Kiper reported in Telegram.

"The port and grain infrastructure in the south of the region is the principal target. One of the Danube ports was hit by the enemy. Warehouses and grain storage facilities were severely damaged. The fires were quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service," the message reads.

No casualties have been reported.

The Air Defence Forces downed 11 kamikaze drones of the 13 launched.
