EBRD awarded NIBULON for environmental and social innovation

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) awarded NIBULON a bronze medalist in the category "Environmental and Social Innovations".

The EBRD awarded the company for the investment program on expansion and modernization of grain logistics infrastructure through the further development of grain transportation by inland waterways.

It is not the only award that NIBULON received the EBRD. In 2011, the EBRD recognized the company as the winner of the Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Improvement Program (UKEEP).

The nominees of the award were chosen among all clients of the bank from all countries where the financial institution is represented.

Note: over the past 10 years, the EBRD awarded its best clients for outstanding achievements in the field of climate change and sustainable energy management, as well as for promoting environmental and social efficiency. This year, gold, silver and bronze awards were presented in four categories: Sustainable Energy, Climate Resilience, Best Environmental and Social Practice and Environmental and Social Innovation. This year there was a record number of applications — 55.
