Grain transshipment: leading port terminals in May 2019
The TIS (TransInvestService) group of terminals leads among port terminals in terms of grain transshipment volumes with 676 thou. tons in May of the current year, Elevatorist.com writes.
The top 10 companies-operators in the reporting period are as follows:
- TIS (Pivdenny port, Odesa region) — 676 thou. tons;
- Transbulkterminal (Kernel subsidiary in Chernomorsk port, Odesa region) — 438 thou. tons;
- DSSC (Danube Shipping-Stevedoring company) — 382 thou. tons;
- lliechevsk Grain Terminal (Chernomorsk port, Odesa region) — 343 thou. tons;
- USPA (the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, in the roads) — 289 thou. tons;
- SSP Nika-Tera (Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region) — 262 thou. tons;
- NIBULON (Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region) — 191 thou. tons;
- Olimpex Coupe International (Odesa port, Odesa region) — 184 thou. tons;
- Greentour-Ex Grain Terminal (Bunge Ukraine, Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region)— 174 thou. tons;

Mykolaiv seaport dominates the Ukrainian grain transshipment with a share of 28.6%.
According to the market operators, the increase in transportation tariffs will amount to 15% vs. last year's price.
