Neptune grain terminal accomplished a record daily shipment volume
Cargill and MV Cargo grain terminal in the port of Pivdenny (Odesa region), Neptune, has achieved a record daily cargo handling volume — 41.18 thou. t.
As reported, at this rate, the terminal loaded the bulk carrier SAKIZAYA POWER with corn grain.
"The grain is already on its way to East Asia. Besides, this vessel is the biggest bulk carrier that was loaded at our terminal during the whole period of work. It's 229 metres long and has a deadweight of 81,864 t," the message reads.
As of Jan. 19 of the current year, Neptune transshipped 3 mln t of grain cargoes since the start of its test operation in June 2018.
