Egg production slightly reduced in Jan-Mar

The volume of eggs production in Ukraine in January-March 2020 reached 3.757 bln units, 0.1% lower from Q1 2019 (3.759 bln units), the State Statistics Service of Ukraine informs.

Egg production in the reporting period by specialized agricultural enterprises of Ukraine decreased by 0.8% to 2.337 bln units vs. 2.356 bln units in January-March 2019.

Egg production in Q1 2020 by households increased by 1.2% to 1.42 mln units (Q1 2019: 1.4 mln units).

As a reminder, the Ukrainian producers of heat-treated poultry, pork and egg products will be able to obtain permits to export products to the market of the Republic of Singapore.
