Sunoil shipment in April reached all-time high

In September-April 2019/20, Ukrainian sunflower oil exports reached a record level of 4.5 mln t, 9% higher YoY, UkrAgroConsult reports.
April shipment of the product was a historical maximum having exceeded 700 thou. t.
As reported, EU countries have doubled their purchases compared to last year and have become the key importers of Ukrainian sunflower oil.
Analysts noted that exports to India decreased by 20%. Antigua, Barbuda, Burundi are new markets for Ukrainian products in the reporting period.
"The growth of export volumes is marked to Spain (+44%), China (+29%), the Netherlands (+32%)," the message reads
At the same time, the export of Ukrainian sunflower oil dropped: Portugal -97%, Germany -65% and Lebanon -28%.
Earlier it was reported that in January-April 2020, sunflower oil exports from Ukraine totalled 2.53 mln t, 15% more from the prior year's comparative period (2.2 mln t).
