Farmland traded in Ukraine totalled over 23.3 thou. ha by 30 Aug

As of 30 August, the number of farmland sale transactions in Ukraine totalled 10,683, the Agrarian Ministry reports. The area of land under registered transactions is 23,334.17 ha.

The highest number of land sale transactions in regions as of 30 August:

• Kyiv: 1347
• Poltava: 1078
• Sumy: 938
• Khmelnytsky: 707
• Kharkiv: 684
• Vinnytsya: 620

Largest farmland volume sold in regions:

• Poltava: 2717 ha
• Kharkiv: 2615,5 ha
• Kirovograd: 2073,9 ha
• Dnipropetrovsk: 1871,8 ha
• Kherson: 1719,4 ha

The StateGeocadastre projected the cost of farmland in Ukraine upon land market opening with the highest being traded in Cherkasy region and the lowest in Chernihiv.
