Farmland marketed in Ukraine totalled over 39.5 thou. ha by mid-September
As of 15 September, the number of farmland sale transactions in Ukraine totalled 16,589, the Agrarian Ministry reports. The area of land under registered transactions is 39,492.99 ha.
The highest number of land sale transactions in regions as of 15 September:
- Poltava: 1,492
- Kyiv: 1,424
- Khmelnytsky: 1,361
- Vinnytsya: 1,260
- Kharkiv: 1,196
- Sumy: 1,049
The largest farmland volume sold in regions:
- Kirovograd: 6,330.2 ha
- Kharkiv: 4,480.2 ha
- Poltava: 3,812.1 ha
- Dnipropetrovsk: 3,555.6 ha
- Kherson: 2,589.0 ha
The StateGeocadastre projected the cost of farmland in Ukraine upon land market opening with the highest being traded in Cherkasy region and the lowest in Chernihiv.
