Poultry meat export to EU 18% reduced in 2020

Poultry meat export from Ukraine to the EU countries dropped to 108.7 thou. t in 2020, 18.8% lower YoY, the data of the European Statistical Office show.
In terms of the volume of meat supplied, Ukraine retained its third position among exporters.
The largest exporters of poultry meat to the EU in 2020:
- Brazil: 227.7 thou. t
- Thailand: 131.3 thou. t
- Ukraine: 108.7 thou. t
Import of poultry meat to Ukraine in the reporting period totalled 145.87 thou. t, 18.2% less YoY.
In 12M 2020, Ukraine supplied 431.1 thou. t of poultry meat and edible co-products to foreign markets, 4% more YoY. January 2021 shipment stood 22% less YoY.
