belarus agrees to let Ukrainian agricultural exports through its territory without preconditions

The Republic of belarus announced to the United Nations that it will allow grain transit from Ukraine through its territory for further export from Lithuanian ports without preconditions.

As informed by the spokesman for the Secretary-General of the UN Stéphane Dujarric, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of belarus Yury Ambrazevich met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres in New York to assure him that there are no preconditions for the transit of Ukrainian grain.

Ambrazevich "reiterated his government's request to be allowed to export fertilizers, which are currently sanctioned," Dujarric said in a statement following the meeting.

President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda considers the initiative of belarus to export Ukrainian grain a trap and an attempt to avoid sanctions. He advised against accepting it.
