For the first 11 months of 2016, Ukraine has exported 2.7 thousand tons of pork, which is 81 tons more than the import volume.

This is evidenced by State Fiscal Service data.

The Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine reports that Ukraine has got back the title of the pork net exporter.

The cost of the exported products amounted to $4.21 million and imported — $ 3.85 million. Thus, the foreign trade balance made $355 thousand.

According to the report, the Ukrainian pork export to the external markets was ten times higher last year.

Here is to remind that Ukraine produced 220 thousand tons of fresh, chilled or frozen pork in January-October 2016, which is 4.4 thousand tons more than for the same period in 2015.
