Ukraine to export 5.2 million tons of sunflower oil

Ukraine exports about 5.2 million tons of sunflower oil by the results of 2016/17 MY. It is reported by APK-Inform.

According to the report, by the end of November 2016 Ukraine has increased the export of sunflower oil by 23% compared to the previous month and by 44% compared to November 2015 (to 535.6 thousand tons).

At the same time, for 3 months of 2016/17 MY Ukrainian enterprises have exported 1.24 million tons of sunflower oil, which is 31% more than in the same period of previous season.

The top importing countries remain the same: India (31% of total exports), China (15%) and Iran (10%). The share of EU-28 countries accounted for 21% of total exports during this period.

We would like to remind that according to the EDC forecasts, Ukraine will produce 5.5 million tons of sunflower oil in 2016/17 MY.
