Sugar refinery resumed work in Sumy region

On September 20, a sugar plant in the village of Mykolayivka, Belopolsky district (Sumy region), resumed its work after a 4-year break.

This is reported by 0542.ua.

It is noted that the plant plans to produce more than 40k tons of sugar. This will be quite enough not only to meet the needs of the region's residents, but also for the trading within the country and even for export.

A modern sorting line is launched at the plant, and sugar will be produced with labeling.

Let us remind, that as of September 18, 2017, Ukraine produced 84k tons of sugar and processed 719.6k tons of sugar beet.
