The French Socomac accelerated the processing of grain trucks due to unique equipment

On the Socomac terminal in the Atlantic port of La Rochelle (France), a unique machine for measuring the falling number (one of the parameters for the acceptance of grain) is installed, which makes it possible to accelerate the process of processing vehicles transporting grain.

This is reported by the CTS in the L.A.B. project.

It is noted that the peculiarity of the machine is that it is not necessary to grind grain for the analysis. Such a machine is the the one in France.

"The device allows to determine the falling number in a matter of seconds without grinding the grain and subsequent manipulations. In general, the entire operation takes a minute, while the traditional method requires 10-15 minutes for this. Accordingly, trucks with grain are processed much faster, which is the key to the organization of the production process at the terminal," says Artem Maznyi, the head of the UkrTransAgro terminal.
