Ukraine in January-September exported 14 thousand tons of rye

Ukraine in January-September 2017 exported 13.75 thousand tons of rye for the amount of USD 2.17 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that the main importers of Ukrainian rye in the reporting period are Bangladesh (USD 552 thousand), the Netherlands (USD 511 thousand) and Lithuania (USD 397 thousand).
Exports to these countries amounted to 3.49 thousand tons, 3.24 thousand tons and 2.51 thousand tons of rye, respectively.
Reference: in 2017/18 MY sowing areas of rye increased by almost 30 thousand hectares (up to 170 thousand hectares), providing a total yield of 459 thousand tons.
