From the beginning of MY 2017/18 824 thousand tons of sugar produced in Ukraine

As of October 24, agrarians processed 6.03 million tons of sugar beet and produced 823.7 thousand tons of sugar.

At the same time, 40 sugar plants began sugar beet processing.

Reference: the association Ukrsugar forecasts 46 sugar plants to work in 2017/18 MY. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
