Ukraine in January-October exported 15.6 million tons of corn

Ukraine for the period of January-October 2017 exported 15.57 million tons of corn for the amount of USD 2.42 billion.
The State Fiscal Service Ukraine informs that the main importers of Ukrainian corn were Egypt (USD 370.25 million), the Netherlands (USD 346.27 million) and Spain (USD 293.99 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 2.28 million tons, 2.22 million tons and 1.89 million tons of corn, respectively.
According to the ShareUAPotential.com report, the export of corn in October 2017 amounted to 0.5 million tons against 1.3 million tons in October 2016.
Reference: the forecast for corn production in Ukraine in MY 2017/18 is reduced by 0.5 million tons to 27 million tons.
