Grain reserves in Ukraine amount to 27 million tons

Reserves of grain and leguminous crops at processing and storing enterprises as of December 1, 2017 amounted to 27.07 million tons, which is 1.35 million tons less than the same indicator in 2016 — 28.43 million tons.

The data of the State Statistics Service shows that the highest grain reserves are located at the enterprises of Poltava (2.75 million tons), Vinnitsa (2.25 million tons), and Chernigov (2.14 million tons) regions.

It is noted that the lowest reserves of grain and leguminous crops are at the enterprises of Zakarpattia (39.9 thousand tons), Chernivtsi (127.8 thousand tons) and Lviv (282.8 thousand tons) regions.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine since the beginning of MY 2017/18 exported more than 20 million tons of grain against 21.6 million tons over the same period of the previous MY.
