Agrarians attracted UAH 60.5 billion of credits

By the end of October 2017, Ukrainian agrarians obtained credits for UAH 60.5 billion.

Elena Korobkova, Executive Director of the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks, informed that according to statistics of the National Bank of Ukraine, the total volume of loans increased by 9.3% in January-October, writes AgroPolit.com.

"And this is against the background of a decline in the total loan portfolio by 1.5%. The increase in crediting was due to hryvnia loans (a 24.1% increase). However, the volume of loans in foreign currencies declined during the year," Elena Korobkova says.

However, according to her, loans for agricultural sector make up only 6-7% of the total volume.

Reference: the index of investment attractiveness of Ukraine, which is defined by the European Business Association, in the second half of 2017 amounted to 3.03 points out of 5 possible, which is 0.12 points less than in the first half of the year (3.15 points).
