Export of sunflower oil in 2017 reached 5.8 MT

In 2017, Ukraine exported 5.76 million tons of sunflower oil for the amount of USD 4.3 billion.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reports that the main importers of sunflower oil in the reporting period are India (USD 1,574 million), China (USD 455.26 million) and Spain (USD 422.28 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 2.107,060 thousand tons, 609.09 thousand tons and 565.34 thousand tons of sunflower oil, respectively.
Reference: in January-November 2017 Ukrainian oil extraction plants produced 4.74 million tons of sunflower oil, which is 21.7% more than over the same period in 2016.
