Ukraine imported 35k tons of tomatoes in 2017

In January-December 2017, Ukraine imported 34.79 thousand tons of tomatoes for the amount of USD 23.12 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reports that the major exporters of tomatoes to Ukraine in 2017 were Turkey (USD 21.34 million), the Netherlands (USD 0.49 million) and Spain (USD 0.37 million). Deliveries from these countries amounted to 32.11 thousand tons, 0.73thousand tons and 0.56 thousand tons of tomatoes, respectively.
Reference: in 2016 Ukraine imported 36.63 thousand tons of tomatoes worth of USD 29.53 million.
