ADM increased net earnings by 25%

ADM net earnings increased 24.71% to USD 1.59 billion in 2017.

The company reports that in Q4 2017 net earnings of the company amount to USD 788 million against USD 424 million for the same period last year.

The total revenues for 2017 decreased to USD 60.83 billion (2016: USD 62.35 billion), in Q4 2017 — the total revenues decreased to USD 16.07 billion (Q4 2016: USD 16.5 billion).

According to that report data, the adjusted earnings per share rose from USD 0.73 to USD 1.39.

"For 2017 as a whole, we grew earnings per share, improved returns on invested capital and generated positive EVA. Looking ahead, we expect improving results through 2018 as our strategy advances. Our increasing international presence, and expanding capabilities in areas such as destination marketing, food and beverage innovation, and health and wellness, all help to position ADM for continued growth and value creation," said ADM Chairman and CEO Juan Luciano.
