Syngenta completes acquisition of seed business from COFCO

Syngenta announced that it has completed the acquisition of Nidera Seeds from COFCO International.

According to Johnny Chi, CEO of COFCO International, this transaction should allow for further strengthening of the company's focus on grains, oilseeds and sugar.

"Nidera Seeds has significant growth potential and we believe Syngenta will continue to develop the business with a beneficial outcome for all stakeholders," he stressed.
