Export volumes of Ukrainian grains reached 26 MT

Ukraine since the beginning of 2017/18, as of February 21, 2018, exported 25.88 million tons of grain, which is 2.61 million tons less than over the same period last year.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that exports of wheat for the reporting period amounted to 12.7 million tons, which is 594 thousand tons less than over the corresponding period of 2016/17.

According to the report, from the beginning of 2017/18, Ukraine exported 3.98 million tons of barley (-613 thousand tons) and 9.08 million tons of corn (-1.3 million tons). The export of rye amounted to 16.8 thousand tons.

Reference: Ukraine in October-January 2017/18 exported 812.5 thousand tons of corn to China, which is 2.8 times more than the volume of supplies over the same period of the previous marketing year.
