The average earnest in agriculture increased 27%

In January 2018, the average salary in agriculture amounted to UAH 4.69 thou., which is 27% more than in the corresponding period of 2017.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that in January 2018 the average wage in the production of food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to UAH 7.28 thou. In January 2017, this figure was 5.83 thou. tons. Thus, the growth of wages in food processing industry was almost 25%.

Reference: the aggregate index of agricultural production costs in Ukraine in January-September 2017 amounted to 22.5%.
