Milk export sales increased 53% in Jan-Mar 2018

In January-March 2018, Ukraine exported 2.89 thou. tons of milk, which is 52.69% more than over the corresponding period last year.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) informs that in monetary terms milk exports amounted to USD 2.16 million (January-March 2017: 1.54 million).

The major importers of Ukrainian milk in the reporting period are Moldova (USD 763 thou.), Qatar (USD 561 thou.) and Georgia (USD 530 thou.). Exports to these countries amounted to 1.02 thou. tons, 749 tons and 708 tons, respectively.

Note: in 2017, Ukraine exported 14.06 thou. tons of milk worth of USD 9.73 million.
