555k tons of grains exported from Ukraine since the start of 2018/19

Since the beginning of MY2018/19, as of July 11, 2018, Ukraine exported 555 thou. tons of grain, which is 63 thou. tons more than over the relevant period of the previous marketing year.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that the exported crops over the reporting period are as follows:

  • wheat — 144 thou. tons (1 thou. tons more than over the corresponding period of MY2017/18);
  • barley — 204 thou. tons (181 thou. tons more);
  • corn — 207 thou. tons (119 thou. tons less).

Reference: as of July 9, 2018, agrarians in 23 regions of Ukraine continue harvesting early grain and leguminous crops, which is carried out on the area of 2.8 million hectares or 29% of the forecast.
