Agricultural products account for 38% of port cargo transshipment in 2018

In January-November 2018, Ukrainian ports handled 737 thou. tons of cargo, 38% of which are presented by agricultural products, AgroPolit.com reports.

Within the 5-years period, grain exports from Ukrainian seaports doubled.

The shares of exported products are as follows:

  • 38% — agricultural products (46.1 mln t);
  • 21% — ore (25.2 mln t);
  • 12% — metal products (14.6 mln t);
  • 8% — containers (9.8 mln t);
  • 6% — coal (7.6 mln t).
