Five companies provided for 98 pct of rapeseed exports from Ukraine in 2018

In 2018, exporters supplied 2.14 million tons of Ukrainian rapeseed to Europe which makes up 87.7 pct of the total exported volume. This amount equals almost half of rapeseed imported by the European states.

The top five exporters of rapeseed from Ukraine in the indicated period are as follows:

1. ADM Trading Ukraine — 841 thou. t (38.91 pct);
2. Cargill — 599 thou. t (27.7 pct);
3. Glencore — 398.5 thou. t (18.4 pct);
4. NIBULON — 195 thou. t (9 pct);
5. COFCO Agri Ukraine — 83.5 thou. t (3.9 pct).

As previously reported, in February of the current year rapeseed exports from Ukraine reduced 94.7 pct to 8 thou. tons vs 150 thou. tons in January of the current year.
