Argentina expects a record-high harvest

In the 2018/19 season (December 2018 – November 2019), Argentina has the potential to harvest a record-high harvest — 147 million tons.
The bulk yield of corn is forecasted at 57 million tons (+31%), soybean — 55.3 million tons (+46%), sunflower — 3.8 million tons (+8%).
Wheat production should reach 19.5 million tons.
Crop growth in 2018/19 is reported to be so high against the backdrop of the 2017/18 season, as Argentina experienced the worst drought in many years in 2018 which affected most crops.
Previously reported that by of July 22nd, 2019, winter wheat harvesting in the United States was carried out on 69% of the area, 12.7% lower from 2018 crop progress — 79% at the corresponding date in 2018.
